An Honest Proposal

Preity knew she loved her husband when he asked her to consider his weaknesses as well as his strengths before she said yes to his marriage proposal.

“My friends and family told her all the nice things about me, they made me sound perfect. But I wanted her to be prepared for good and bad. So I told her she should consider my weak points. I didn’t know at the time, but she told me a few years later that this made her feel sure to marry me.”

Every weekend Indians hit the cinemas for the latest Bollywood release, filled with heroes, heroines and the fantasy of love. The vending machines in the malls sell romance novellas. Indians entertain themselves with the ideals, but when it comes to long term attraction they want the truth.

Preity’s husband stood back and let her decide, he left room for attraction.

Opportunity: Entertain with Fantasy, Attract with the Truth.
